I know that everyone has been bugging me to update our blog. I am going to try and be better. I would like to take a moment a recap the last couple of months of our lives for you. Christmas was awesome of course. Michael and I were able to go and visit his parents in Saint George for a couple of days. Michael's sister Jennifer and her family were there also. We had a great time with the McNeilis' family. January was for the most part uneventful. I turned the big 30 on the 12th. I was not looking forward to moving into the thirties but I have accepted it since I don't really have a choice. We saw the movie Juno for my birthday. We both loved it. I would recommend it anyone. Michael got me an iTunes gift card, which I have had a lot of fun with. February has been one crazy month. Michael heard of this great way of adding insulation into our home for almost no cost. So we decided to go ahead and do it. So Friday February 1st we had insulation put in all of the outside walls, most of the inside walls and 12 more inches were added to the ceiling. Great, right? I thought so till I realized what we were going to have to endure for the next month. The company drilled 4 inch holes between each stud aprox every 16 inches in the walls of our house to get the insulation in. It only took them a couple of hours to complete the project but has taken us a month to repair and fix the sheetrock in just the main level. We have had to do a lot of mudding and sanding of the sheetrock. Then there was the painting. Each wall needed to be repainted. I have wanted to repaint the front room for a couple of months now so I was glad to repaint. I just painted the last wall that needed to be done today. I am hoping to clean and get furniture moved back in its place tomorrow. The upstairs is a whole other project. We patched the holes just enough so insulation was not falling out of them. We are planning on waiting till it is a little warmer and then we are going to move everything out of the upstairs and refinish the wood floor, finish the walls, put on new baseboard, replace doors, and paint at the same time. We will see how this project turns out and how long it will take. Other than that Michael and I are dong pretty good. We have both been sick for the last couple of days but feeling better. Michael worked his last night shift last night and we are both glad. He starts his new job next week day shifts on the third floor which is a renal (Kidney) ICU.

Introducing the newest member of the McNeilis household. The new pantry. As some of you know we decided about a year ago to turn the half bath into a pantry. We have been working hard on it and it is finally finished.
