Esther's first day of Kindergarten
The morning had not gone exactly as smooth as I would have liked but I did get her their on time. This last Wednesday was Esther's first day of kindergarten. I woke up early so I would have plenty of time to pack her lunch and get her ready for school. The kitchen was kind of a mess for the day before so I started putting some things away. While trying to put some juice boxes on shelf I missed the shelf causing the pack of juice boxes to come crashing down on me and knocking over a basket full of onions and garlic dusty my panty floor with onion skins. I didn't have time to clean up the mess because Ainsley had woken up and had thrown-up on herself and her bedroom carpet. After bathing three kids and cleaning up throw-up off the carpet I sat Ainsley at the table to eat some dry toast and ran up stairs to do Esther's hair and get dressed myself. Upon returning down stairs I found Ainsley standing up in her chair and she had now thrown-up on her feet, she stood up and missed her clothes. I grabbed Ainsley and rinsed her feet off, grabbed a bowl so she could have something to throw-up in the car and escorted everyone to the car leaving the throw-up mess on the chair and kitchen floor. After fighting traffic and figuring where she needed to be she made it. The second day of school went a lot smoother. She already has a few friends and says she loves it.
